Strategic Planning

MVM Strategy Group works with clients to develop short-term and long-term strategic plans for their legislative and other government affairs interests.   We provide assistance in positioning clients to successfully achieve their goals, and to build positive relationships with key elected officials and decision makers.   Whether in the legislative, regulatory, administrative or political arena, MVM helps clients navigate complex government entities and work through significant and controversial issues to attain positive outcomes.

Implementation

One of the most important aspects of our work is to implement strategic plans for our clients.  Such efforts include working with clients to develop messaging, presentation materials and testimony, and providing “on the ground” advocacy.  We work with legislators, regulators and administration officials on specific language or other actions to protect the interests of our clients.

Monitoring

MVM Strategy Group provides monitoring of all legislative and administrative actions for our clients.  We monitor committee hearings, floor actions, relevant regulatory proposals and proposed budgets for potential impacts on clients.  Further, as legislative bills are introduced or amended, we review language to determine whether bills will have possible effects on our clients.

Politics

Critical analysis of the political environment is essential to forming and implementing a strategic plan.  MVM provides our clients with static and developing political and policy trends that may impact our clients’ interests and goals in California.
